  1. Once you receive our email, write your name & ticket number on your device (if there is no room, you can write on a piece of paper and tape or rubberband it to your device). 
  2. After dropping off your device, we will email our Terms & Conditions.
  3. We can’t start working on your recovery until you have written back to approve our Terms & Conditions.
  4. Payment is required BEFORE picking up your recovery.

If your bad drive is an external hard drive and you have already removed the enclosure, it is unnecessary to reassemble it. Just hang on to the enclosure and drop off the bare hard drive (along with the enclosure’s PCB, if available).

If you have chosen to supply your own transfer drive, be sure to drop it off when dropping off the bad drive. Also, see our rules for providing a transfer drive (in particular, the drive must be an external hard drive or a bare SATA drive, no flash drives).

If you have a hard drive, ensure the ORIGINAL PCB is attached (this only applies if you tried a “PCB Swap”).
