What is the likelihood that your data will be recovered?

Many data recovery companies advertise success rates that may not be reliable or accurate, and in some cases, completely unfounded.

We provide customers with a personalized estimate based on their specific device, symptoms, and recovery needs.

After answering a few questions (below), we’ll compare your device’s symptoms against our database of over 30,000 previous recoveries and provide a custom estimate of your “chances” for successful data recovery, along with a price quote. One of our data recovery technicians will respond with an estimate as soon as possible (usually within two hours on weekdays).

Also included in our chances form response:

  • The number of times we’ve worked on your exact model.
  • The average percent of data we’ve historically recovered from your model.
  • Any extra fees, if knowable (including: “device over 2TB fee,” “USB PCB fee,” and “encryption fee“).
  • The percentage of your model we’ve received with “bad heads” (helpful to gauge the likelihood of needing a Donor Drive).
  • The average cost of a Donor Drive for your model hard drive.
  • A detailed breakdown of when you pay and how our “No Data, No Charge” policy works.
  • Links to submit our Drop-off and Mail-In Forms with the information from your Chances Form pre-populated.

NOTE: if you’re on a phone, try our new Form Submission App.
